Bobovisce bay - Island Brac

Bobovišća na moru are located in a beautiful bay, perfect for sailors and all those who want to enjoy summer in a clear blue sea and the Mediterranean environment. It is a small place with typical Dalmatian stone houses and a long tradition.

Bobovišća harbour has always been attractive to navigation experts The stone waterfront in Bobovišća harbour is harmoniously followed by stone houses. The most beautiful is the Gligo family house from the 18th century now used as a summer mansion. Its imposing beauty dominates the place. The village is ideal for exploring its rich cultural heritage, its Roman and Byzantine archaeological sites and above all, enjoying its genuine hospitality.

Inner part of the inlet is well protected.

Outer part of the inlet is exposed to the Bura (north wind) and winds from the south-west, to north west.

There are two taverns (konoba) in the tiny village located at the head of the southern inlet. In both of the inlets, there is mooring buoys. In the village waterfront few berths with electricity are available.

Bobovišće iz nice day or overnight stop for a lunch, swimming, and diving. We have stayed for a lunch (moored on waterfront), and afternoon swimming before returning to our yacht charter base in Marina Kaštela.

Sailing to Bobovišće from Marina Kaštela is very popular during the first day or last day of the yacht charter holidays.
