Pakleni islands - ACI Palmižana

One of the most beautiful bays on the island of Klementin, is for sure Marina Palmižana. This is the closest marina to island Hvar (2.4 nautical miles), on the north coast of sv. Klement island.

Marina is very quiet and in green surroundings, and offers a good shelter. Know as one of the most beautiful Marina in the Adriatic see. Although there is a chance of a tidal wave in case of heavy west or southwest winds, most of the time the cove provides safe shelter from the waves and wind, but strong eastern wind may cause problems.

Marina offers 180 berths, but still it is very popular during the main season, so reservation or early arrival is recommended. Marina opens from 01.04 to 31.10, and it is not working in off season.

In the marina there is an exchange office, a restaurant, a café, a toilet and a shower at your disposal. The nearest gas station is in the town of Hvar.

During the day there is ferry to island Hvar (till 10.p.m), and later-on there are taxi speedboats all night long.

A short walk to Vinogradisce bay on the other side of the island will bring you to a number of excellent restaurants- Toto’s, Zori, and few others- also great lounge bar Laganini. ACI Marina Palmižana is favourite spot for staying overnight among many sailors starting from our home base Marina Kaštela- Split.
