sailing holidays in Croatia with Noa Yachting during pandemics guide and FAQ
With desire to explain the possibilities of coming to Croatia, we decided to compile answers to the most common questions we currently encounter.
Below you can find explanations of some of the measures currently in force in Croatia which you most often ask us:
1. What is Noa Yachting doing with regards to COVID-19?
In order to be able to offer the possibility of carefree travel at the best time, we have created a new booking option - flexible booking which gives, among other, the possibility to get full refund in case you will not be able to travel due to COVID-19 restrictions. More information here.
We have modified our payment plan for all new bookings as follows:
Noa Yachting is also a proud holder of "Safe stay in Croatia" - a national designation of security protocols in tourism and hospitality which is awarded to stakeholders in tourism sector by Croatian Ministry of Tourism and Sports. This label informs visitors that we have adopted global standards for health and hygiene and are operating according to the current recommendations of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) as well as the Croatian Institute of Public Health. More information here. Safety protocols we apply are listed here.
2. Can I enter Croatia as EU citizen? What if I am not EU citizen? Is proof of negative COVID test required for entry?
Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia announced that all passengers who come to the Republic of Croatia, must present one of the following documents:
All travellers are advised to fill out the form on the ENTERCROATIA web-page.
Additional information can be found here.
3. Can I get COVID-19 test in Croatia in case I need to have it to return home from Croatia?
COVID-19 testing centres are organised at the county-level at various facilities. For your convenience, PCR COVID-19 tests will be performed in Marina Kaštela just like last year. Tests are done on Friday afternoons, results are sent via e-mail the same day or Saturday morning. All you need to do is inform us when on Friday afternoon do you wish to have the test done. PCR and quick antigen tests are available.
4. Are hospitality facilities open?
Outdoor terraces of all catering facilities (including cafes and restaurants) are allowed to work from 6 am to 10 pm. Bakeries and shops selling bread and bakery products can be open until 10 pm. There are also updated health and safety guidelines in place that may be found here (currently in Croatian only).
5. Are marinas, beaches and outdoor facilities open?
Marinas, as well as beaches are open for public use, again keeping in mind that health and safety, as well as any social distancing measures in effect at the time will apply. National Parks and Nature Parks continue to adhere to the prescribed and applicable health and safety measures.
